WHAT I BELIEVE

The Heart Behind My Work

These beliefs shape the way I live, the way I coach, and the work I've created for women who are ready to find their way back to themselves.

BELIEF #1

Healing Is Possible

BELIEF #2

You Were Never Meant to Abandon Yourself

BELIEF #3

Choosing Yourself Changes Everything

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I Know What It Means to Find Your Way Back to Yourself

I didn't come to this work because healing was simply something I studied.

I came to it because healing became part of my own life.

I've known what it feels like to move through difficult chapters, to carry experiences that changed me, and to realize that surviving something and truly feeling free from it are not always the same thing.

Over time, I learned that healing wasn't about erasing my past or becoming someone completely different. It was about reconnecting with myself—learning to trust my own voice, honor what I needed, create boundaries, and make choices based on the life I wanted rather than the life I had learned to survive.

That journey changed more than how I saw my past.

It changed how I chose to live my future.

Today, I bring both lived experience and professional knowledge into the work I do with women. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and deeply rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life.

I'm not here to tell you who you should become.

I'm here to create space for you to hear yourself more clearly, understand what's been shaping your choices, reconnect with what matters to you, and begin trusting yourself enough to choose what comes next.

Because I believe healing can become more than something you're constantly working on.

It can become the foundation from which you finally begin to live.

MY STORY

This Was Built From More Than a Career

For much of my life, I knew how to keep going.

I knew how to show up, take care of people, carry responsibility, and do what needed to be done—even during seasons when life felt incredibly heavy.

As a registered nurse, caring for others became part of who I was. For more than two decades, I've had the privilege of being beside people during some of the most vulnerable and life-changing moments of their lives.

But while I was caring for others, I was doing my own healing, too.

My life taught me that a woman can be strong and still be hurting. She can be accomplished and still question herself. She can take care of everyone around her while slowly losing touch with what she needs, wants, and dreams about.

Eventually, I came to understand something that changed the direction of my own life:

Surviving is an incredible act of strength—but we deserve the opportunity to build a life beyond survival, too.

For me, healing became less about what I needed to overcome and more about what I wanted to create.

I began reconnecting with my voice, my values, my boundaries, and the parts of myself that had gotten quieter along the way.

And somewhere in that process, my personal experience and professional life began pointing toward the same purpose.

That purpose became Body Elements & Mind Elevation.

THE HEART BEHIND THE WORK

Why I Do What I Do

Today, my work brings together more than two decades of nursing experience, my education and training, trauma-informed coaching, writing, podcasting, and the lessons I've learned through my own life.

I've written Healing Beyond the Hurt: Turning Trauma into Triumph.

I created Finding Direction from Within.

I host Triumphant Over Trauma.

And through Body Elements & Mind Elevation, I continue creating resources and spaces designed to help women move beyond simply surviving their lives and begin intentionally creating them.

But beneath the titles, credentials, programs, and everything I've created is one belief that has become the heart of this work:

No woman should have to abandon herself to be loved, accepted, or successful.

I want women to know that healing doesn't require becoming someone else. You can reconnect with your own voice. You can learn to trust yourself again. You can create boundaries without apologizing for having them. You can discover what you want your life to look like.

And you can choose yourself without believing that doing so means you care any less about the people you love.

That's why I do this work.

Because sometimes the most transformative thing a woman can realize is that her life belongs to her, too.

You are allowed to choose yourself.

EXPERIENCE + EXPERTISE

Compassion Is at the Heart of My Work. Experience Helps Guide It.

My approach is shaped by both lived experience and decades of caring for people through some of life's most vulnerable moments.

For more than two decades, I've worked as a registered nurse across diverse areas of healthcare, giving me a deep understanding of how our physical health, emotional well-being, experiences, environments, and relationships can intersect.

Over the years, I continued expanding that foundation through education and specialized training in trauma-informed care, health and wellness coaching, behavioral change, mindfulness, positive psychology, confidence, mindset, and nutrition.

But credentials alone aren't what makes someone feel heard.

How we use what we know matters just as much as what we know.

That's why I bring my experience into this work with compassion, curiosity, respect, and the understanding that no two women—or their stories—are exactly alike.

IN THEIR WORDS

The Heart of This Work Is in the Women It Reaches

Every woman brings her own story, her own experiences, and her own definition of growth. These words reflect a few of the ways my work has touched the lives of women I've had the privilege of supporting.

NOW THAT YOU KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT ME...

I’d Love to Know What Brings You Here.

Maybe you're here because you're healing from something that changed you.

Maybe you've spent so much time caring for everyone else that you're beginning to wonder where you fit into your own life.

Maybe you're ready to trust yourself again, create stronger boundaries, discover what you truly want, or simply feel more like yourself.

Or maybe you can't quite put words to what you're looking for yet.

That's okay, too.

You don't need to have everything figured out before you take the next step.

Explore what feels right for you. Read. Listen. Learn. Reach out. Take what you need and move at your own pace.

Because wherever you are in your journey, I hope you leave this space remembering one thing:

Your life belongs to you, too.

And you are allowed to choose yourself.
